Ahhhh, Summer!
That glorious season when we get to squish our toes in the sand turn our
thoughts to backyard barbeques and play dates at the playground. (Don’t forget
to slather on the SPF & wear your sunhat, we have many to choose from). But
wait! Summer won’t be complete without those delightfully coordinated tops,
bottoms, swimsuits and accessories sure to turn the heads of little fashonistas everywhere. Belle Bottom Baby is filled with
the bright sunny colors of Misha Lulu tanks and

Sunscreens have an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) rating
that tells the consumer how much ultraviolet radiation the sunscreen blocks.
For example, if you can stay in the sun for 10 minutes without sun block before
you burn, a product with SPF 15 should allow you to stay in the sun for 150
minutes (10 x 15) before burning. Doctors recommend products that have an SPF
of 30 or higher for both children and adults. The higher the better, but above
SPF 30 may become thicker and less appealing to apply. A lot of people don't
apply sunscreen correctly it takes most sunscreens around 20 minutes to absorb
to their fullest potential. If you wait until you get outside to apply
sunscreen to your children they could get burned in the meantime. It only takes
as little as 15 minutes for the sun's UVA and UVB rays to start damaging the
skin, increasing the risk for sunburn, skin cancer and premature skin aging,
particularly on days where the UV index is high. Children under the age of six
months should not be exposed to the sun. Baby

THE BELLE
BOTTOM BABY SOLE TRAIN
The Belle Bottom Baby Sole Train
was established to be a ‘track’ from our caring community to children in need.
There are so many kids in need here in our own backyard, and our goal is simple,
to provide shoes and comfort to those kids and their families in our community.
Kids without shoes are unable to attend school.
Playing without shoes can subject them to injury and infections.
Any one company or individual can donate shoes to
The Belle Bottom Baby Sole Train. We will gladly accept any new or gently
worn shoes.
The Belle Bottom Baby Sole Train is a non-profit
program and receives no government funding. We rely solely on donations and the
help of volunteers to do our work. Our hope is that the donations of goods,
services and time given by the community will allow The Belle Bottom Baby Sole
Train to make a difference in the lives of the families and children we help.
To insure the Sole Train program is able to
sustain itself and offer shoes at no cost to the people we help our program is
staffed with volunteers from within the community.
We are dedicated to the
hope that we can all come together to make a difference in the lives of others
through volunteerism, donations and commitment!
